Guatemala - August 2021 - On 25 August 2021, a digital meeting was held for young religious in the formation phase of the Salesians of Don Bosco, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and the Daughters of the Divine Savior (HDS) from Central America. The event was promoted by the members of the various provincial councils and by some young Salesians who led the activity with the aim of fostering a space for fraternity and reflection in the face of the world pandemic. The meeting began with the greetings of Fr Ángel Prado, the Salesian Provincial of Central America (CAM), and after a moment of dynamic sharing the formative theme was offered by Fr Ricardo Rodríguez, SDB. Moments of reflection were encouraged during which each participant shared about their educational, vocational and personal experience during the pandemic. Also, several recipients and collaborators of the various works shared their experiences of the health emergency via a video with participants. The meeting ended with a final prayer and a goodnight message from Sr. Magdalena Castro, FMA, from the Central American South Province.
