Curitiba, Brazil - August 2021 - On 26 August the Curatorium of the "Immaculate Conception" Salesian novitiate in Curitiba was held, presided over by Fr Gabriel Romero, Councilor for the America South Cone Region, with the participation of Fr Nivaldo Pessinatti, Provincial of Brazil -Recife (BRE), Fr Justo Ernesto Piccinini, Provincial of Brazil-Sao Paulo (BSP), and Fr Gilson Marcos da Silva, Provincial of Brazil-Porto Alegre (BPA). The whole day was characterized by moments of prayer, fraternity, and evaluation of the novitiate. Since 2012, the BPA Province has hosted this training phase. Starting next year, the BRE Province will receive the novitiate phase, hosting the novices in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes.
