Peru - Councilor for Interamerica Region meets members of "Disciples"

Peru - October 2021 - During the Extraordinary Visitation to the Salesian Province of Peru (PER), the Councilor for the Interamerica Region, Fr Hugo Orozco, met some members of the 24th group of the Salesian Family, the Secular Institute of Diocesan right “Disciples ", founded in India in 1973. The 3 male religious and 6 female religious pastorally accompany the missionary presence at Puerto Alegría, Santa María of Cahuapanas and Kuyuntza, in the Vicariate of Yurimaguas, in the Amazon, and in the missionary community of Monte Salvado, in the diocese of Cuzco. “Their dedicated life stands out for its simplicity and generous love for young people, undoubtedly a beautiful expression of the Salesian charism which makes the shared mission a reality,” commented Fr Orozco.
