Vietnam - The Salesian parish “Don Bosco Ben Cat” distributes food to 687 poor families

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - October 2021 - Since the beginning of the worsening of the pandemic in the country in June, the Salesian parish "Don Bosco Ben Cat" has constantly supported people in need by providing them with food. And on 7 October it made its last food delivery, as the country is now entering a phase of "new normal". As described by the parish priest, Fr Peter Pham Huy Hoang, SDB, there were 687 poor families who benefitted in the 05 ward of the Go Vap district and in the parish of Ben Cat. In any case, the parish will continue to give support to the needy also in the future, especially to orphans who have lost their parents due to the pandemic.
