D.R. Congo - Fr Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, visits "Don Bosco Ngangi"

Goma, R.D. Congo - November 2021 - On Tuesday 9 November, Fr Stefano Martoglio, the Vicar of the Rector Major, arrived in the city of Goma and was welcomed by a crowd of exultant young people gathered at "Don Bosco Ngangi", in the presence of the Vice Provincial of the Central Africa Province (AFC), Fr Tryphon Kalimira, the Superior of the "St Joseph" Delegation of East Central Africa (AFC-EST), Fr Aurélien Mukangwa, and the Salesian community of Goma. Fr Martoglio expressed his admiration for the noble work done by the Salesians in the eastern part of the AFC Province, and communicated the paternal greeting of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, to all the young people of Goma. Later in the evening, Fr Martoglio visited all sectors of the Salesian house of "Don Bosco Ngangi", at the end of which he presided the Eucharist. Today, 10 November, Fr Martoglio goes to Bukavu and Nyakadaka to visit the Salesian works there.
