Quito, Ecuador - February 11, 2022 - After two years of this pandemic, a meeting of the Provincials of the Inter-American Region was finally held in person, presided by Fr Hugo Orozco, Regional Councilor. Characterized by moments of prayer and joint reflection, the meeting deepened the theme of the redesign of the Provinces of the Region in relation to the programmatic proposal of the Rector Major who guides the Salesian mission in Interamerica and on the basis of the Region’s challenges and opportunities. The Provincials who participated are: Fr José Pastor Ramírez (ANT); Fr Líder Justiniano (BOL); Fr Ángel Prado Mendoza (CAM); Fr John Jairo Gómez Rúa (COB); Fr Luis Fernando Valencia (COM); Fr Francisco Sánchez (ECU); Fr Bonhome Morachel (HAI); Fr Filiberto González Plasencia (MEG); Fr Ignacio Ocampo (MEM); Fr Manuel Cayo (PER); Fr Timothy Zak (SUE); Fr Melchor Trinidad (SUO); Fr Rafael Montenegro (VEN).
