Malta - February 2022 - On February 27th and 28th the Central Delegate of the Rector Major for the Secretariat for the Salesian Family, Fr Joan Lluis Playà, SDB, and the World Delegate for Past Pupils of Don Bosco, Salesian Brother Dominic Nguyen, visited the Salesian Vice-Province of Malta (MLT) and met the different groups of the Salesian Family. The Delegate for the Salesian Family in Malta, Salesian Brother Clive Mifsud, organized a meeting for the representatives of the groups of the Salesian Family and together they explored the theme "How Don Bosco would see the Salesian Family today". Bro. Mifsud gave a presentation explaining that in Malta there are nine groups of the Salesian Family, all represented at the meeting: SDB, FMA, Salesian Cooperators, Past Pupils, and Friends of Don Bosco, ADMA, Volunteers of Don Bosco, Volunteers with Don Bosco, FMA Past Pupils, and the Salesian Oblates of the Sacred Heart. Fr Playà and Bro. Nguyen visited the Salesian works in Malta and met with the President of the World Confederation of Past Pupils of Don Bosco, Bryan Magro, and a Hungarian delegation of Past Pupils who were in Malta to prepare the launch of a new association in Hungary.
