India - Regional of South Asia Unveils Statue of Don Bosco at Trasi

Panjim, India - Mar. 21. - The Regional Councillor for the Salesians of South Asia, Father Biju Michael SDB, unveiled the statue of Don Bosco at Don Bosco Trasi, Karnataka, Panjim Province. He was on a visit to facilitate the consultation for the new Provincial. 18 Salesians from the six houses of Karnataka took part in the consultation process. Unveiling the statue, sponsored by students of Class X of 2020-2021, as a sign of their gratitude to the institute, Father Biju said that even after 150 years, the educational system is still very relevant. 'In our education, we do not teach subjects but students. The transformation of students by the educators is the hallmark of Don Bosco's educational system,' he further added.
