Santa Tecla, El Salvador - March 2022 - As part of the 125-year celebration of the Salesian presence in Central America, on 24 March the "Santa Cecilia" Salesian College located in Santa Tecla blessed and inaugurated the "Chaleco TV" audiovisual studio. The project consists of two audiovisual studios equipped with cutting-edge technology with which students can expand their theoretical and practical knowledge, thanks to teaching focused on emerging forms of communication; it will also be an excellent pedagogical tool for college teachers in the virtual training process used in these times. The school’s Rector, Fr Rodolfo Guzmán, SDB, during his speech, underlined the importance of creating spaces and tools to promote education in students, in view of new pedagogical projects. The event was attended by students, parents, past pupils, and the institute’s technical council.
