El Salvador - Don Bosco University promotes sustainability

San Salvador, El Salvador - March 2017 - The Don Bosco University (UDB) of El Salvador has held a high level training course for sustainable buildings called "LEED Lab UDB", thanks to the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). In the first phase the UDB will train 30 professionals of the Institute of Higher Education that are part of the Energy and Energy Efficiency Group that the University itself leads. Then the course will be open to professionals and entrepreneurs from all sectors. LEED Lab UDB is a pioneering experience in Central America and is the first professional training course with an integral technological and environmental vision, which proposes a change of approach to sustainability in the construction field in the country.
