(ANS - Tlazala) - In the spiritual center "House of the New Man" of Tlazala, Mexico, on 24-25 February, the Meeting of the National Salesian Association of Associative Pastoral Care (ENSPA) took place, involving Salesians of Don Bosco, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and the lay collaborators of the four Provinces of Mexico: Mexico-Mexico (MEM), Mexico-Guadalajara (MEG) of the Salesians, Mexico-South (MME) and Mexico-Monterrey (MMO) of the FMA, together with the young people who belong to the four provincial councils of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) of each Province.

The participants received greetings from the Rector Major, through Fr Timothy Ploch, Councilor for the Interamerica Region, on his Animation Visit to MEM. "I bring you the greetings of the Rector Major who asks me to express his heartfelt affection for you," the Regional Councilor said. "I congratulate you on two things: being members of the SYM, but above all being part of the 'Council' of the SYM in the Provinces of Mexico. I congratulate you for the excellent work you do. All of you have gone through, in one way or another, a Salesian environment (...) and you have been formed and educated in the Salesian style. Now that you are members of the SYM, God calls you to give to others all that you have received during your Salesian formation."

The meeting was also attended by Fr Gabino Hernández Paleta, MEM Provincial, who greeted the audience and invited them to live the project.

During the meeting, each Province presented the Pastoral Associative proposal for the various phases of youth formation. To grow in unity within diversity, the Reference Framework for Youth Ministry, the Identity Card of the SYM in Mexico and the Document for the next Synod of Bishops were analyzed. The Provincial Organic Projects, the Provincial Salesian Educational Projects were also examined, and participants discussed the organization, the presence, the government and the structure of each Congregation.

In one of the paragraphs of the Framework of Youth Ministry it is clearly stated: "we believe in education and we are determined to plan (for the future) in practice ... The effort to plan, with the Salesian Pastoral Educational Proposal, makes real the desire to be proactive with young people."
