Guatemala City, Guatemala - February 2019 - The formation of both Salesians and lay collaborators is very important in the world of work with young people. In order to respond to this need, the Salesians in formation of the Salesian philosophate have been bringing forth the Salesian School for Laity (ESAL, in Spanish) for two years now, based on four formative modules proposed by the Central American Province (CAM): human maturity, Christian witness, Salesian animation and professional competence. During this time, various members of the Salesian works of Guatemala City have taken part, as well as people who do not belong to any Salesian house
and are simply interested in learning more about the Salesian charism and putting it into practice in their apostolate.
