Mexico–Preparation Course for Perpetual Profession

Irapuato, Mexico– July 2019– The Salesians in formation of the communities of the Salesian Theologate of Guatemala, of the Regional Center of the Salesian Coadjutor of Guatemala and the Salesian Theologate of Tlaquepaque, Mexico, participated in the course of preparation for the Perpetual Profession from 16 June to 13 July. The course was attended by 6 Salesians, who are preparing to be Salesian coadjutors, coming from Argentina, Brazil, Central America and the United States, and 10 Salesians, who are preparing for the priestly ministry, coming from Central America, Colombia, Haiti, Mexico and Venezuela. For a month the participants explored the elements of religious consecration and reflected on their personal history from a faith perspective. The course ended with spiritual exercises. Fr Francisco Ruiz, Fr Juan Carlos Solís, Fr Miguel Aguilar and Fr Horacio Barbieris prepared and accompanied these weeks of formation.
