Mandaluyong, Philippines - August 2019 - The Salesians of the Northern Philippines Province (FIN) met on August 26th for the day of their quarterly gathering. The day began with the Lectio Divina on the Gospel passage of the disciples of Emmaus, organized by Fr Juvelan Samia, SDB, who was followed by the speech by Fr Joebeth Vivo, SDB, head of the Youth Ministry Commission, who provided an update on the renewed commitment of the Ministry of Youth Ministry in the FIN Province. Fr Gerry Martin, SDB, FIN Provincial, gave a motivational speech on discernment and accompaniment, followed by a reflection on religious life by Fr Bob Zarate, SDB, during the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and blessing. The day ended with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr Martin during which Fr Oliver Bautista, SDB, received the sending off blessing for his forthcoming missionary expedition.
