D.R. Congo - Eight EcoPo students

Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo - December 2019 - On 23 December, the Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco of Central Africa (AFC), Fr Albert Kitungwa Kabuge, received, in the presence of the Management Commission of the Higher School of Economic and Political Administration (EcoPo), eight students from the Salesian institution returned from the University of Camerino, Italy. Thanks to financial support from the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, through the Industry Promotion Funds (FPI), these students completed a course for formators in the agri-food sector. Fr Kabuge thanked the eight students for honoring the Salesian educational institutions; Patrice Kitebi, Director General of FPI, for the financing of their studies; and the Italian professors and those responsible for Self Globe for the quality of scientific and practical training. Fr Kabuge, visiting the construction works of the "EcoPo", together with the General Manager, Emmanuel Banywesize, and the members of the management committee, expressed his gratitude to the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, for the support of this important Salesian institution.
