Joinville, Brazil - January 2020 - On January 26, Fr Natale Vitali, Councilor for the America South Cone Region, presided over the inauguration ceremony of the new Provincial of the Salesian Province of Porto Alegre (BPA), Fr Gilson Marcos da Silva. The mass was attended by a large number of members of the Salesian Family, of the Salesian works of Southern Brazil, relatives and friends of the new Provincial, faithful and young people who took part in the Missionary Project of Rio Negro.
