Madrid, Spain - February 2020 – On February 25, about a hundred leaders of the Social Communication departments of the various works of the two Salesian Provinces of Spain, "St James Major" (SSM) and "Mary Help of Christians" (SMX), participated in the VI Salesian Day of Communication on the theme "The Christian Communicator: building bridges in times of individualism." Fr Javier Valiente, SDB, National Delegate for Social Communication, welcomed the participants by stressing: "We can think of communication as a Salesian work [house]. Above all the shared awareness of coordinated work." The event was attended by Fr José María Rodríguez Olaizola, Jesuit, sociologist and writer with a great projection in social networks, who presented the challenges of the Christian communicator and the challenges that must be overcome to achieve communication on the Internet at the service of the Word. In the second part of the meeting, some practical workshops were held.
