(ANS - Krakow) – There were months of preparation, many meetings took place, hundreds of emails sent and phone calls made. All these so that the Salesian volunteers of World Youth Day can prepare for their duties in the best way. And so came the long-awaited moment of the joint meeting of all the volunteers in Krakow.

(ANS - Damascus) - The Salesian Province of the Middle East (MOR) will attend World Youth Day (WYD) 2016 in Krakow with 21 young people from three countries which have been sorely tested in recent years for different reasons: Syria, Egypt and Lebanon. The young people will be accompanied by Fr Simon Zakerian, Youth Ministry Delegate of the MOR Province who is currently stationed in Damascus, Syria.

Seoul, South Korea – 13 July 2016 – Thirty young people in South Korea have joined the Youth Group of Salesian Pilgrims, accompanied by four Salesian priests. The group is taking part in a series of preparatory meetings for the pilgrimage, which will take place from 17 July to 2 August, first in Italy and then in Poland, for World Youth Day in Krakow.

(ANS - Rome) - World Youth Day (WYD) 2016 in Poland will be attended by pilgrims from five continents. The registration procedures for delegations has ended (although the last minute option is still available) and so it is possible to extrapolate approximate figures.
