Krakow, Poland - April 2021 - The pandemic has failed to prevent a good preparation for the true joy of the Resurrection, not even in this very difficult year in Poland. In fact, the young Salesians of the Krakow Seminary not only prepared themselves, but also prepared many young people and adults, also through the sacred representation of the Passion of Christ entitled "Mysterium", and some online Lenten retreats for pupils of Salesian schools. In the end, they expressed their Easter greetings with true gratitude and joy: "May the light and freshness of the Resurrection Sunday morning fill our hearts with the same joy and dynamism that we find in the words of the First Letter of St. John."
Różanystok, Poland - March 2021 - A special Way of the Cross took place in the Shrine of Our Lady of Różanystok, prepared in the form of a passion play staged by the children and young people of the Salesian oratory dedicated to Saint Dominic Savio in Różanystok. The young artists interpreted the historical characters of the Via Crucis and accompanied the fourteen stations with songs. Each station was accompanied by a short biblical meditation enriched by songs performed by the “Schola” of Różanystok. The preparation was handled by the FMA, by the animators, by the head of the oratory, as well as by the Schola and its tutors. Parents and other people were also involved in the preparation, especially as regards the costumes and decorations.
(ANS - Przemyśl) - In the year especially dedicated to St Joseph, on the day of his liturgical feast, last Friday 19 March, the Salesian parish of Przemyśl, dedicated to St Joseph, celebrated its patron saint - who is also one of the patrons of the whole Congregation - with a solemn Eucharist presided over by the metropolitan archbishop, Msgr. Adam Szal, who also entrusted the entire archdiocese to the Custodian of the Redeemer.
Warsaw, Poland - March 2021 - Since the beginning of Lent, the Salesian Mission Office of Warsaw, together with Sister Maria Domalewska, FMA, and Fr Paweł Libor, SDB, have conducted the initiative "If you want, you can help me"; its aim, to help the sick and malnourished people of Luanda. Sister Domalewska, who has been working in Angola for 10 years and knows the situations of many people in need, describes their stories and sends information about their needs. Albertina is albino and has cancer, Maria has been operated on, Mauro asks for food, Vasco has had an accident and needs a wheelchair ... These are just some of the stories of people who wanted to share their life and their suffering. The Salesian Mission Office of Warsaw and the FMA want to provide them with the food and care they need. The food packages that will be prepared include: chicken, sausages, beans, rice, corn flour, sugar, milk, oil, as well as soap and disinfectant. The sick will have medicines and necessary equipment, and their medical treatment will be paid for.

(ANS - Krakow) - 89 years have passed since the young Salesians in Krakow proposed the sacred representation of the Passion of Christ entitled "Mysterium" for the first time. Every year, the actors are the Salesian clerics who study in Krakow: first they were only those of the Salesian Provinces of Krakow (PLS) and Wrocław (PLO), then they came from all four Polish Provinces (thus also from Warsaw and Piła); for some years now, there are also some young people from the group “Ziemia Boga” (The Land of God).

Fr Caputa recently wrote a new book in Italian on Simone Srugi (Simone Srugi nella storia di Betgamāl), and today he illustrates the history of the Venerable and the value of this publication.
RMG – Salesian Youth Movement in prayer for Myanmar
(ANS - Rome) - Day after day, people from all over the world look on at the photos and videos of the brutalities emerging from the streets of Myanmar with horror: large columns of security forces, in full riot gear, surrounding peaceful demonstrators, water cannons fired upon the growing crowd, demonstrators who are beaten ... Young people are the victims of the inhuman violation of democracy.
MESSAGES OF THE RECTOR MAJOR
THE TRUE RESURRECTION
The one that touches peoples’ lives and transforms them
My friends, readers of the Salesian Bulletin, I greet you again with all cordiality by means of this Salesian magazine founded by Don Bosco himself. It was his intention to use this bulletin to convey to the laity the reality of his young Salesian Congregation, which sought to be faithful to God as it was growing little by little. As we read in the 1877 issue, it "is published to give a report of things done or to be done according to the purpose of the Salesian mission, which is the care of souls and the good of civil society."
