Preparing for Marriage - with Pope Francis
Featured

19 March 2019

Following Pope Francis, this book offers inspiration and examples for couples with the goal of touching “the hearts of young people, appealing to their capacity for generosity, commitment, love and even heroism, and in this way inviting them to take up the challenge of marriage with enthusiasm and courage” (Amoris Laetitia 40).

The book examines the cues offered by Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia (2016) to help engaged couples prepare for marriage. Authored by Arturo Cattaneo and translated by Elizabeth Reichert, this is an essential resource for everyone who is accompanying couples in their preparation for marriage, and for the couples themselves.

Arturo Cattaneo is a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, and the author of many books on Canon Law, the Church and pastoral topics. He has doctorates in Canon Law and Theology, and currently teaches at the Faculty of Theology at Lugano, Switzerland. He is a consultant to the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life.
