Easter and Don Bosco

In the history of the Salesian Congregation, there are two important events related to Easter.

On April 12, 1846, Easter Sunday, the Pinardi house was inaugurated, a shed which will become the small chapel where Don Bosco's activity will be concentrated in the early years and where many children will find help and hospitality.

It was also Easter Sunday when Pope Pius XI canonized Don Bosco. It was April 1st 1934.
