A look at the Don Bosco Green Alliance

The Laudato Sì Week takes place until May 24; it celebrates the 5th anniversary of the Encyclical Laudato Sì.
The week takes place in collaboration with several international partners, including the Don Bosco Green Alliance.


Don Bosco Green Alliance: what is it?

It is a global Salesian platform which includes the young people of the Salesian Family who are engaged in concrete actions for the protection of the environment.

It was launched in 2018 in India.

It has 274 members and is present in 56 countries.

What does it do?

The 3 priority areas on which the Don Bosco Green Alliance focuses are:
- Combat pollution;
- Reduce global warming;
- Eliminate disposable plastic.
