After the early days of the Workshop, the first real printing press was built in 1883, where the editions usually printed outside Turin were produced.

The print shop was in operation until 2012, when it was closed in the aftermath of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of its foundation.

Since 2013, antique machines have been on display there, recreating the environment of the typography as it was in Don Bosco's time.
