INTERVIEWS
(ANS – Rome) – Among the missionaries who will receive the Missionary Cross from the Rector Major on Sunday, 24 September are some who have already begun their missionary experience: such as young Emmanuel De Marie Musa Mbwisha, who despite being a missionary for a year and a half already preserves and indeed, sees all the enthusiasm of those who want to serve young people, the Congregation and the Church through a faithful Christian and Salesian witness grow with the passage of time.
(ANS – Rome) – Among the missionaries called to travel the missionary routes in the opposite direction to those taken by the first evangelisers, to awaken the fire of the Gospel in the Old Continent, is young Jorge da Luísa João, a member of the 154th Salesian Missionary Expedition, animated by a missionary zeal of great depth and eager to return the gift of evangelisation that his land first received from European missionaries.
(ANS – Rome) – Not only direct encounters with missionary figures, but sometimes also the simple echo of their actions and apostolate can be an inspiration for today's missionaries. This is what the young Salesian in formation, Cl. Soosai Arputharaj, witnesses to us today, while he shares about himself and his life.
(ANS - Rome) – A seemingly chance encounter in the sacristy can change the lives of those involved and of many others. The whole Salesian Family knows this well. But we are not talking about Don Bosco and Bartholomew Garelli: even young Indian Wanteilang Khyllait can say that there is a "before and after" encounter with a Salesian in the sacristy in his life. Because there, as he tells us today, his missionary vocation was born.
