(ANS - Quito) - After several years of formation and discernment, Fausto Siavichay and David de la Cruz have decided to say "yes" forever to God and to pastoral work in the style of Don Bosco. With their perpetual professions, which they issued on 25 January, they have committed themselves to leading a chaste, poor and obedient life in the service of the Salesian Congregation and of the Church. A few days before this fundamental stage of their life, Fausto and David spoke of the meaning of this event in their journey of formation as religious.
(ANS - Turin) - The artist Andrea de Simone was presented during the Triduum prayer vigil to Don Bosco in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Valdocco on Wednesday, 29 January. Before the gaze of hundreds of people and with his "sand art", the artist depicted the affectionate face of Don Bosco as seen by an artist who met the Saint of Youth in his preparation of the artistic exhibition. The presentation only needed two things: passion for art and a little sand.
(ANS – Mati) – Mae Goopio-Moran is a young lay missionary volunteer who carried out her service at the Salesian house in Mati, in the southern Philippines. To fulfill this mission, she had to leave her home and work in her city, but after six months she has already been able to observe several results in her life and around her.

I appreciate so much, their closeness to the young, their openness and willingness to assist the young, the family and the welcoming spirit they create and most especially their simplicity of life.” This is Cl. Mbanu David, a young Salesian cleric who has accepted the call to be missionary ad gentes and is destined to serve young people in Mongolia.
