Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - April 2020 - In the tense situation caused by COVID-19, new and creative ways are sought to involve young people, exploit their creativity and develop their talents. The young residents of the "Don Bosco Technological Institute", Boroko, "Savio Haus", Bomana, and "Mary Our Help", Boroko, welcomed the invitations of their superiors and teachers and, through two sessions, made short songs on the topics "Stay at home" and "Social distances". Other young people shared their thoughts on the risks of coronavirus, on the need to take care of the planet and keep the environment in which we live clean. “Record your songs using your iPhone or smartphone. Share it with your friends on social media. It is an easy way to convey a very important message to other young people,” said Fr Ambrose Pereira, SDB, at the end of the session.
