Wroclaw, Poland - April 2020 - On April 16, the "Salesian Missionary Volunteer Service for Young People for the World" in Wroclaw launched the "UNITY vs COVID-19" campaign. The objective of the campaign, which 20 volunteers work for, is to respond to the recent requests of the Salesian missionaries from Gambia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Cameroon, South Sudan, Mongolia and India, for the supply of disinfectants, basic cleaning products, masks and protective gloves. Another goal of the campaign is that local communities are made aware of the current situation, the importance of personal hygiene, of staying at home and in self-isolation during the periods of greatest risk.
