South Africa - Salesian Cooperators produce masks for youths of Ennerdale
Ennerdale, South Africa - May 2020 - "Young people are aware that utmost caution is needed for the prevention of Covid-19, but they have no choice but to beg." Jessica Poley, Salesian Cooperator, explained what pushed the Salesian Cooperators of Ennerdale to devote themselves to the production of masks. Here, in fact, many young people are forced to live on alms and go from house to house to ask for food, without masks, or other protective devices, because they cannot afford them. The Salesian Cooperators thus went to work and made masks to be distributed to the homeless and the poorest young people.
