Nigeria - Salesians help population during pandemic
Koko, Nigeria - May 2020 - To respond to the emergency caused by Covid-19, the Salesians in Koko, Northern Nigeria, have established "Don Bosco Covid-19", a team involved in various awareness-raising activities. The group is mainly active in the distribution of medical supplies and food supplies. In addition, team members travel to villages to explain how to prevent the virus and what hygiene rules to follow. The initiative is supported by the Salesian Mission Office in Madrid.
