Portugal - May 2020 - On May 16, due to the circumstances caused by the pandemic, the “SYM Day” of young people from Portugal took place using the digital platforms: Instagram, YouTube and Zoom for the first time. The event began with the "Art and Faith" moment with various interventions and performances by different guests. The video message of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, was then broadcast, which encouraged the young to be Mission, to live and experience life as an opportunity to love, to give the best of themselves, to serve, to welcome with open arms one's neighbour, the other. The event continued with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr José Aníbal Mendonça, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Portugal, and with the Rosary.
