India - "Acts of charity" of "Bosco Seva Kendra" during COVID-19 pandemic
Hyderabad, India - May 2020 - The “Bosco Seva Kendra” (BSK), the Planning and Development Office of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad (INH), continues to support the population suffering from the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhasakar, INH Provincial, Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, BSK Executive Director, Fr Parri Sarath, BSK Deputy Director, volunteers, local coordinators and animators, are carrying out an awareness-raising campaign among the population and have distributed to migrants, brick makers, women, and children from various locations a total of 10,000 masks, 1,000 hygiene kits, and 400 food kits.
