Lagos, Nigeria - June 2020 - Salesians and lay collaborators met on June 5 at the headquarters of Nigeria's Salesian Delegation to celebrate World Environment Day. It focused on the theme "Celebrating biodiversity". The meeting sensitized participants on the need to love, take care and protect the environment that God has given us; the issues of COVID-19 and nature, environmental pollution, global warming and safety were also addressed. The event ended with a strong invitation to commit to caring for the Earth.
