India - Online meeting of "BOSCOM", in view of forthcoming website donboscosouthasia.org
Chennai, India - June 2020 - On 10 June an online meeting of "BOSCOM", the network of social communication networks of the Conference of Salesian Provinces of South Asia, was held. On the occasion, strategies were discussed to improve the flow of information in the forthcoming web portal: "www.donboscosouthasia.org", which shall be the region's new display. In his opening speech, Fr Biju Michael, Councilor for the South Asia Region, stressed the importance of the role of each of the networks and the need to foster communion and the role of BOSCOM in promoting it through the latest communication technologies. Then there were various interventions on: evolution of the portal www.donboscoindia.org and key features of the next portal; useful tips and ideas for collecting and sharing relevant data from all networks; need for training of managers; proposals to improve the presence of the Salesian media and the data security of the South Asia Region.
