India - Salesians of Chennai supply food to migrants
Chennai, India - July 2020 - The Salesians of the India-Madras Province (INM) brought their help to migrant workers and their families who, in returning to their places of origin, were stuck in the stations of Chennai because of the lockdown. In addition to providing food and nutritious cookies to migrants, the Salesians of the INM Province assist frontline health workers, community volunteers and nurses who work among the population of working-class neighborhoods and vulnerable areas.
