El Salvador - U.S. Embassy and Don Bosco University print 3D masks for healthcare professionals
San Salvador, El Salvador - July 2020 - The United States Embassy in El Salvador has supported, through its "American Spaces" program, the Don Bosco University (UDB) for the production and donation of 3D printed masks intended for frontline personnel in the fight against Covid-19. The diplomatic office reported that it had donated 3D printers and materials necessary for the manufacture of this personal protective device to the UDB. 475 masks have already been distributed to four institutions: 75 to the Innovation Secretariat, 100 to the "Rosales" hospital, 100 to the military hospital, and 200 to the "Saldaña" hospital.
