Mexico – “Padre Chava” refectory at work during Covid-19 pandemic
Tijuana, Mexico - August 2020 - Don Bosco gave his boys the bread of culture, education, social development; but at the same time he evangelized the boys and recommended frequent communion. So do his spiritual children still today; while proclaiming the Gospel, they have not forgotten to cater to the needs of people: an example is the refectory "Padre Chava" of Tijuana, which among its many activities, continues to serve - with all the necessary precautions – those who knock at its doors, especially in this era that sees the Mexican state heavily affected by Covid-19.
