Vietnam - 25 years of Salesian Cooperators
Sai Gon, Vietnam - August 2020 - In 2020 the Association of Salesian Cooperators of Vietnam celebrates the 25th anniversary of its foundation. Even if the Vietnamese Salesian Cooperators are still young, they do their best to fulfill their vocation; not only do they provide catechism lessons, but they also care for and give scholarships to poor children so that they continue to go to school. They have opened tailoring courses, visit and support social works and orphans, the disabled, street children, vulnerable children of ethnic minorities and collaborate with their parish priest in catechesis. They are not simply an association, but have received and responded to God's call.
