Nigeria – Salesians' commitment in fight against coronavirus

Lagos, Nigeria - September 2020 - The Salesians of Don Bosco are engaged in Nigeria in the work of contrasting the Covid-19 pandemic. In the state of Lagos, in collaboration with the "Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus", with the support of the Italian Episcopal Conference through the International Voluntary Service for Development (VIS), the Salesians are conducting an awareness-raising program on the risks of contagion and education on the correct use of protection devices. In the meantime, the “Don Bosco Center” of Ondo is preparing for the reopening of the Vocational Training Center and the Youth Center with new rules for access to facilities, hand washing and distribution of masks.
