Mexico - First “Ecoclub” of Salesian Family established in Guadalajara
Guadalajara, Mexico - September 2020 - To respond to Pope Francis' appeal for the care of the common home, and to adhere to the similar invitation of the Salesian Congregation, an international group of young people from various circles of the Salesian Family has established the first “Ecoclub” in Guadalajara. The group of 9 young people meets once a month to train, pray and act in favor of creation. On 19 September, on the occasion of the World Cleanup Day, it began its activities in collaboration with “Senderos de México”. Young people cleaned up some protected natural areas in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara from rubbish.
