Portugal - New year for Lisbon Salesians with creativity, prudence and patience
Lisbon, Portugal - October 2020 - The Salesians of Lisbon have prepared the beginning of the school year by activating all the necessary health safety procedures with the educators, first of all by putting their hearts and creativity into play. The pupils began the school year with a short prayer that commemorated the Visitation of Mary to Saint Elizabeth - whose Gospel passage is the motto of the 2023 World Youth Day in Lisbon. The meeting ended with the words of the Rector, Fr João Chaves, who emphasized three fundamental attitudes for this school year: creativity, prudence and patience. Subsequently, meetings with class leaders took place, which, by giving the welcome typical of these days, reinforced the awareness of carrying out the Covid-19 prevention procedures together with the pupils.
