Rwanda - “Missio Belgium” donates 9 bicycles to Salesian post-novitiate in Kabgayi
Kabgayi, Rwanda - October 2020 - "Missio Belgium", an organization that is part of the Pontifical Mission Societies and which supports concrete projects developed by parishes and religious communities, has donated 9 mountain bikes to the Salesian postnovitiate in Kabgayi, belonging to the Vice Province of Africa Great Lakes (AGL). Young Salesians use bicycles to go to the diocesan major seminary, where they continue their philosophy studies. Salesian Brother Diomede Havyarimana, economer of the post-novitiate, said that the donated bicycles will be added to those already supplied and constitute a good means of transport, because they do not pollute and allow young Salesians to keep fit.
