Albania - Priestly ordination of Salesian Giuseppe Andrés Liano Pira
Shkoder, Albania - October 2020 - On 24 October, in the Cathedral of St Stephen, Salesian Giuseppe Andrés Liano Pira was ordained a priest by the laying on of hands and consecratory prayer of Msgr. Angelo Massafra, O.F.M., Metropolitan Archbishop of Shkoder-Pult. Also present was Fr Angelo Santorsola, Provincial of the Southern Italy and Albania (IME) Province. Fr Liano Pira, a Guatemalan Salesian, was sent to Albania and Kosovo with the missionary project "Europe" in 2015.
