East Timor - New church blessed at Ossoqueli Mission Station
Baucau, East Timor - November 2020 - On 1 November the Salesian Mission of Fatumaca celebrated the blessing of a new church in the Ossoqueli Mission Station, which is part of a diocesan parish served by the Salesians. Present at the event Msgr. Basílio do Nascimento, Bishop of Baucau, Msgr. Marco Sprizzi, representative of the Holy See in East Timor, and Fr Apolinário Maria Ornai Neto, SDB, Superior of the Salesian Vice Province of East Timor (TLS). The ceremony began with the blessing of the church building, the consecration of the altar, the blessing of the chalice, pyx, paten and vestments, and continued with the solemn All Saints Eucharist.
