Great Britain - A Salesian helps students and teachers undergo Covid-19 tests
London, Great Britain - January 2021 - Augustine Alfred, a Salesian in formation, thanks to his acquired skills, helped the staff and students of the "St John Bosco College" in Battersea, London, to undergo the Lateral Flow tests for COVID-19. At the start of the Christmas holidays, schools had to work hard to prepare for tests for the start of the term in January. Despite a new national lockdown shortly after the start of the term, the Education Department indicated that, based on the new scheme adopted, staff and students still in school, i.e. vulnerable children and children of essential workers, must be tested. Augustine's skills will continue to be used, even though many students do distance learning.
