Papua New Guinea - Meeting of Don Bosco's Past Pupils
Boroko, Papua New Guinea - January 2021 - On 24 January a meeting of the Past Pupils of the "Don Bosco Technical College" of Kumgi was held. It was attended by, among others, the Archbishop Emeritus of Rabaul, Msgr. Francesco Panfilo, SDB, and the Provincial of the Salesian Vice Province of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS), Fr Gregorio Bicomong. In his speech, Msgr. Panfilo briefly told the story of Don Bosco and also gave suggestions on how to feel part of the Salesian Family. Fr Bicomong offered a message inspired by the Rector Major's Strenna 2021 on how to have hope in this time of pandemic by building a deep trust in God.
