Ghana - Apostolic Nuncio visits Salesians of Ashaiman-Tema

Ashaiman, Ghana - February 2021 - On February 8, the Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, Archbishop Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski, visited the Salesians of Don Bosco in Ashaiman-Tema, where they work under the Archdiocese of Accra. Welcomed by the Director Fr Anthony Nzeli, SDB, the Apostolic Nuncio met the Salesians, FMA and some lay collaborators, interacting with them. Fr Krzysztof Nizniak, SDB, Economer of the English-speaking West Africa Province (AFW), presented the work of the Salesians, and then a moment of questions and sharing followed. Finally, Msgr. Jagodzinski made a short journey through the structures of the "Don Bosco" Technical Institute, the "Don Bosco" Center for the Protection of Minors, and the "Blessed Laura" Catholic School, the latter managed by the FMA, with the aim of learning more about Salesian work in the community and understanding its vision of young people.
