Buterere, Burundi - March 2021 - The "Don Bosco Vocational Training Center" of Buterere, near Bujumbura, celebrated African Environment Day on 3 March. The VTC Director, Fr Ferdinand Ntunzwenimana, SDB, explained the need for this day and invited the participants to protect the environment so that man and other living beings can coexist in harmony. For the occasion, the "Don Bosco Buterere Environmental Club" of the VTC planted fruit trees and various species in nearby schools, public and private areas.
