India - Social awareness program in Jhajjar for children working in kilns
New Delhi, India - March 2021 - On 20 March, 24 Salesian Cooperators of the “Holy Child Auxilium” of Vasant Vihar (New Delhi) organized a social awareness program in Jhajjar in favor of children who work in brick kilns. Coordinated by Victor Nazareth, and led by Sr. Maria Pettayil, FMA Delegate, funds were raised and food was offered to 200 children. The Salesian community of Jhajjar, under the guidance of Fr Joy Marangattikala, provides education and help to the children of the furnace workers.
