Araçatuba, Brazil - May 2021 - 160 students of the Medicine Course of the Salesian University "UniSALESIANO", after a specific theoretical and practical course on vaccinations, participated in the Secretariat of Health of Araçatuba's vaccination program against Covid-19. The Secretary of Health, Carmen Guariente, stressed that the collaboration between the municipality and “UniSALESIANO” has two important aspects. The first is to offer students direct experience in the prevention through the "Single Health System", via orientation, access to operating procedures and the application of doses. The second is that the participation of students in this process, under supervision, allows the health workers of the municipality to carry out other important activities within primary care.
