Papua New Guinea - Don Bosco's Preventive System encourages female students

Kimbe, Papua New Guinea - May 2021 - The Sisters of Charity of Jesus, 11th group of the Salesian Family, run a Technical Secondary School in the locality of Kimbe, in the Province of Western New Britain, in Papua New Guinea. Recently, the institute's 300 students attended with enthusiasm an informative presentation on Don Bosco's Preventive System, led by Fr Ambrose Pereira, SDB, Secretary of the Social Communication Office of the Episcopal Conference of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The event was also attended by Sister Florentina Cho, Director of the school, and Sister Sara Park, Superior of the community. For them, this meeting was another step towards building a solid educational foundation for the girls.
